Several students converged in Anna Bay over the July holidays for the Annual ASA Symposium.

Students came from as far as Queensland, Newcastle, and Sydney to attend the event.

The Symposium was held in beautiful Anna Bay right behind the sand dunes, just a short walk to the beach.

For the student's it was a great chance to catch up with friends from other societies.

The Societies present were SASS, NASA, and QUSDAS

Several workshops were run each day with a variety of speakers including actress Francine Bell.

Francine told the students about her amazing life and the role God played in it.

She also came bearing gifts and a lesson on good posture.

Another highlight of the week was scientist John Ashton.

John spoke on the effects of alcohol and drugs on the body. Students were amazed at some of the findings.

John also spoke about his life and his research on the bible. He spoke about how he had corrolated the events of the bible to ancient Egyptian history which proves that the bible timeline matches history.

The event also included the annual AGM.

The next event on the ASA callendar is the ASA convention in January featuring international christian artist Paul Colman.
