The ACTS Church hosted its first Sabbath worship service at Curtin University on Sabbath 9 August 2008. Guest speakers included Nikki and Dave Slee, and Bruce McCourt also shared his personal testimony. The vision for ACTS was jointed presented by Nigel Kuzvinzwa and Sven Östring.
The ASA Annual General Meeting is going to be held on Friday 4th July 2008. The AGM is the meeting where important decisions about the future of ASA are made and where the ASA executive team for 2009 will be elected.
The program for ASA Symposium has been put online and a basic outline can be viewed in the Symposium section of this website. A more complete schedule version is available to download as a PDF file. The program is still a draft version and is subject to changes, but the Symposium organisers say that most of the program has been finalised.
The Sydney Adventist Students Society big weekend was a big hit with students in Sydney. The weekend included the STUFD Friday night program at Parramatta Church, a planning meeting for the StormCo trip to Bourke and a super fun Trivia night at Kellyville church.
